ABOUT COACH JONES
Born May 18, 1957 in New York City, Coach David Jones has dedicated over 50 years of his life to the game of basketball. Widely respected as one of the most influential basketball minds in the region, Coach Jones has built a reputation for shaping young athletes into champions both on and off the court.
Over the decades, Coach Jones has mentored and developed dozens of athletes who went on to play at the college and professional level including: Stephon Marbury (NBA All-Star), Jamal Mashburn (NBA),
Felipe Lopez (NBA, St. John’s), Derrick Chievous (NBA), Shammgod Wells (NBA & Global Trainer), Neisha Butler (Georgia Tech Star & Pro Player), Andre Barrett, Andre Sweet, Gary Saunders, Royal Ivory, Rashamel Jones, and many more.
